Public Health Insurance Plans

Work in groups of three on these tasks. Make sure that you take good notes along the way.

Task 1       

What do you know of the Norwegian health care system? Write down as many aspects you can find and discuss with the members of your group.

Task 2       

One member of the group reads through text 2, “Health Insurance in in the USA. Explain the main points of it to the others in the group.

Task 3       

Sum up the main points of text 3. Discuss your points in the group.

Task 4

Form new groups consisting of no more than one from each of the former groups. Each member explains the result of the first group’s work to the others.

Task 5       

Read through the text “One month in hospital”. What can we learn from this text? Discuss it in your group.

Task 6       

How healthy is your school environment? Is there anything that could be done to improve it?
